I went a little crazy this weekend with my beauty purchases and these two essence nail polishes made the list. I don’t usually do the nude look,  I love colour too much, but I also like to try different things. Another new thing I’m trying out is the essence nail polish brand. I must say, I like the width of the brush, it makes the application so much easier and less messy especially for someone who paints their own nails. I also like the fact that it dries relatively quickly

I am so happy to hear that Mr Price will be opening in Australia. I love Mr Price and I think their clothes are trendy and affordable. To me Mr Price is like H&M or Primark. I buy Mr Price clothing because their clothes are stylish and reasonably priced but I wouldn’t shop my entire there simply because I like quality and I also wouldn’t want to walk down the street and have someone dressed exactly like me. Because of Mr Price’s affordability, there is no exclusivity and if you want to stand

It’s technically spring in September but I think it’s safe to say that spring came early this year; it’s been wet and rainy lately. This spring, you’ll be glad to know that a lot of last years’ trends are making a comeback so you don’t have to kill your bank account buying a whole new wardrobe to keep up with the latest trends. I love playing dress up and I love make-up so when it comes to anything that enhances your beauty, best believe I know all about it. I love

I still can’t believe it’s winter! The weather has been quite moderate, I must say. I recently relocated to Cape Town from Johannesburg and had expected to experience a cold winter but so far, the weather has been tolerable. Reveling in the temperate climate, I took advantage and wore my shorts out.  It’s never too cold to wear shorts, anyway! Shirt: Cotton On Sweater: Mr Price Sling bag: Aldo Ankle boots: Jet

I wore this outfit to The Weekend Social in Braamfontein yesterday. The theme of the evening was monochrome. I thought monochrome meant “black and white” but it turns out that monochrome is more than just “black and white”. Monochrome means: consisting of or displaying images in black and white or in varying tones of one colour. This is defined according to the Oxford English dictionary. Yesterday was my first time being at the Weekend Social. It was a vibrant yet different environment for me. I would describe it as a

Its getting really cold now and I’m not too happy about it. The good thing is in winter, my face secretes less oil than it does in summer so that’s at least a positive.
