Workout Plan

Let’s be honest, I am super lazy when it comes to exercising.  Two of the reasons being I hate to sweat and another, I wear weaves. It’s difficult to wash your hair everyday when you wear a weave and you kind of have to if you exercise regularly because of all the sweat and dirt build up so I forgo exercise for the sake of my hair. Talk about crippling progress!

That’s definitely going to change this year! Exercise will be part of my routine even if I have to shave all my hair off- which is now falling off and receding thanks to relaxer but that’s a story for another day.

I am blessed that I have a somewhat athletic looking frame. When you look at me, you may think I work out fairly regularly but other than a run once or twice a year, I do zilch to keep fit. I don’t have much that I want to change on my body other than a young six pack, slightly muscular thighs and a perkier behind. I definitely don’t want nor do I need to lose weight, I just want to be fitter and healthier.

I started my new year on a good note and ran just about 6km. Here is a warm up video recorded by my delightful friend, Shalamar.

 

I haven’t exercised since 1 January 2016 and today is 10 January but I will be back, I promise!
