6 Stylish Ways to Style your Knee-High Mesh Heels

It’s time to say goodbye to the knee-high boots and hello to knee-high heels. Just because it’s summer doesn’t mean you need to forsake the knee-high look. I have been obsessed with knee-high heels ever since I saw them on one of the Kardashians. This trend is slowly but gradually taking the place of its cousin, the gladiator sandals – which can be worn flat or high.

A pair of black knee-high heels is the most versatile colour you can have in your wardrobe because not only do they go with everything, they can also be worn with anything. You can wear these with shorts, skirts, pants, jeans – whatever you like.

If you’re thinking of buying a pair this summer, here are six ways to style your knee-high mesh heels:

1. Out on the town

When I shared this look with my mum she asked me if I was going horse riding, I laughed so hard. Whether you’re going out for cocktails with the girls’, to the movies with a date or horse riding perhaps, a camisole tucked under an oversize, high waist shorts is the perfect outfit to complement the knee-high heels.

2. Glam-up your vamp

For a vampy glam look, wear your mesh knee-high boots with a black long-length shirt and dark lips.

3. Boho Chic

No boho chic look is complete without boots or in this case knee-high heels. Wear them over leather tights, complete with a knit bandeau top and gold hoop earrings.

4. Fashion Killa

If you’re a nudist at heart and would like to go commando but can’t, fret not, the oversized blazer might just be your way out. I love this look for a fashion show. To cover my breasts, I opted for a white frill neckpiece instead of tape.

5. Slayage

For a night at the club, go with your favourite bodycon dress paired with the mesh knee-high heels and you’ll definitely have the attention of the barman (which you need to get a drink anyway).

6. Straw hats and faux fur gilet

The great thing about the faux fur gilet is you can throw it over anything and look like you belong on the cover of Vogue. Slip into knee-high mesh heels to pull the look together.

Thanks for reading and a happy new year to you. May 2017 bring you everlasting joy and love.

Brands I’m wearing are Topshop, Mix, TheLot, Mr Price, YDE, Wafwako  Cotton On and Lovisa.
