Cavalli

No not Roberto Cavalli, hopefully some day soon – Cavalli Stud Farm . The only adjective I can think of to describe this venue is quite simply, exquisite! The landscape is just glorious and the only place that completely impresses me on the scale of Cavalli is Delaire Graff. Although, having been to both venues an equal number of times, the jury is still out on which of the two I prefer. At the moment, I am more inclined to say I favour Cavalli over Delaire Graff but only because of the shop and the gallery, where these images were shot There are other things at Delaire Graff like the ever friendly and courteous security, the jewelry shop and the beautiful plants that are awe-inspiring.  If you haven’t been to either, do yourself a favour and do visit when you’re in the Western Cape.

This past Saturday, a friend and her two relatives took a trip down to Stellenbosch from Cape Town and as a Stellies resident and lover of the winelands I was the honorary tour guide. We went on a short tour to Cavalli, Tokara, Delaire Graff and The Hydro, all in one afternoon. I would have squeezed in another trip but we were all tired and agreed to call it a day after a short visit to The Hydro.

I wore this yellow dress which I picked up from the children’s section – age 13 –14 years- at Mr Price Clothing on our day out. The options of where to shop are endless!

This is my second yellow outfit of the week and I received such lovely compliments both times. I am beginning to think, yellow is my colour.

What do you think?
